Deep rich yellow colour. Concentrated aromas of pineapple, granadilla, apricots and butterscotch complimented by subtle oak spiciness. Aromas carry through to the palate with the pineapple and apricots dominating. Good balance between fruit and oak. Wine has long smooth creamy finish.

Grapes were selected from 27 year old vines. Vine canopies were left open to expose bunches and leaves to sunlight and ensure fruit driven wines. Fermentation was started in a stainless steel tank and was finished in barrels. 100% of the wine was matured on full lees in barrels for 10 months with regular stirring of lees. 70% new barrels and 30% second fill barrels were used. Only 500L barrels were used to optimize balance between fruit and oak flavours. To optimize complexity French and Hungarian oak was used. Only the best barrels of the 2014 vintage was selected for this limited release Reserve Chenin Blanc.
Only 1200 bottles were produced.
